The President of the Bureau of Experts Signs Cooperation Agreement with the University of Majmaah for the Provision of Technical Solutions

His Excellency the President of the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers Mr. Mohammed ibn Sulaiman Al Ajaji, and His Excellency the Rector of Al Majmaah University Dr. Khalid ibn Saad Al Muqrin, on Wednesday 8/6/1440H corresponding to 13/02/2019,  signed a cooperation agreement for the provision of technical solutions and enhancement of information technology within the Bureau. The agreement was concluded in the presence of His Excellency the General Director of the e-Government Program "Yesser" Eng. Ali ibn Nasser Al-Assiri, along with the attendance of a number of officials from both sides. 

The ceremony commenced with remarks by the President of the Bureau welcoming the Rector of the University of Majmaah and the General  Director of Yesser as well as the accompanying delegation. The President stressed that this agreement stems from the Bureu’s desire to promote the role of information technology in improving administrative performance and facilitate the digital transformation of government transactions so as to achieve “Vision 2030”.

He also stated that such agreement complements established partnerships over the years with the government agencies to become a key partner in the formulation of laws and regulations in a manner that serves our nation's swift development.

The president expressed his gratitude and appreciation towards the Rector Dr. Al-Muqrin and the Director General of the program of Yesser Eng. Ali Al-Assiri and their accompanying delegation for their support and efforts to conclude the agreement and attending the ceremony.

The Rector of Al Majmaah University Dr. Khalid ibn Saad Al Muqrin expressed his delight for partnering with the Bureau of Experts, as the University will provide its technical and advisory expertise to serve the needs of the Bureau.

The Rector noted that such cooperation seeks to achieve the national goals set by the government for digital transformation, and that this agreement is one of a series of agreements signed by the University with government agencies to serve the nation and ensure its prosperity.

The General Director of e-Government Program Yesser Eng. Ali Bin Nasser Al-Assiri commended the partnership, highlighting the role of the university's ability to provide innovative solutions to enhance the performance of government agencies, noting the importance of cooperation in various fields to move towards an "information society". He has also stressed the importance of concerted efforts to achieve the desired objectives and enhance the efficiency of the digital infrastructure within government agencies.

He expressed that Yesser is keen to support technical cooperation to develop and facilitate transactions within government agencies as part of its efforts to promote the digital transformation in the Kingdom.

The main pillars of the signed cooperation agreement were the use of best international practices and methodologies to provide and implement technical solutions within the Bureau; empower all departments within the Bureau to utilize the solutions provided with respect to training, raising awareness and knowledge transfer; use of services and scientific and research expertise at the University; and discovering problems and implementing action plans to address them. 

This agreement is part of a series of agreements signed by the Bureau that wil be concluded in the near future to establish partnerships with other government agencies.
